Chrysler killed the PT Cruiser so you could get one of those pretty cheap and drop a HEMI into it, maybe put a big wing on the back and put 22" spinners on it and a nitorus tank and ricer buzzy muffler and all sorts of neato "Fast and Furious" Mods.

Did you not do any research before buying? At least the resale is so high you will not lose your shirt.

Yes the resale value is rather high for minis... cept from his posts/implications, it sounds that he drove the sh it out of his mini to the point were it needs to be sold asap... i certainly wouldnt buy his

no way in hell would I pay 40 Gs for a MINI. I love my mini but at 30g's its alot smaller less practical than others in that same range. Make no mistake I love my car and would never trade her for anything. But when you push 40 grand you can get a way better car thats rear wheel drive also. 40 grand, its for those who purily have cash to burn. Before i spent 40 gs on a jcw, Id have to buy a challenge MINI.

Aww come on, guys! It's all our faults that this guy's leaving us! We can't let that happen! I encourage each and every one of you R56 owners to immediately go spend at least $5,000 on your car. Bigger turbos, bigger intercoolers, exhausts, cylinder heads, camshafts, forged rods and pistons, nitrous oxide, ECU tuning, suspensions, body kits, outrageous wings, pearlescent paints, THE WHOLE NINE YARDS!

We must do everything in our power to keep this really great example of a friendly, upstanding MINI owner!

Yea same here. I love my car, but I wouldn't pay that much for a mini. If I got a car that was just under or a little above 40g's I'd pay a tad extra. I'd a get an audi A5 or something similar.

I am not in need of hugs, hand holding or the like. As for you dude I own 3 MINIs. Money is not an issue here and I AM NOT RICH. I am a motorsports racer who loves the sport, this is my life, not a weekend hobby.
My issue was with those people who think its cute to offer 2 dollars for parts worth 600 dollars or more, those who drive an mini because they think it has some fountain of youth quality. Those people who PRETEND to have pertinent (racing) knowledge ONLY TO find out they drive a completely stock car...OR WORSE THEY SOLD THE **** last year, and dont even own a car.
I guess my time would have been better spent down south in the racing forum. Crap guys, let me go in peace
