The problem with the "best of" offerings is that the company's idea of "best" is a LOT different than mine. If I could pick and choose which channels to have, that would be ideal, but that doesn't seem to be in the foreseeable future.

 

Sirius/XM will be eliminating the duplication of channels and formats as they become more integrated. It doesn't make any sense to have two sets of music channels, talk channels, sports channels, etc... The big question is what's going to be done with the two different satellites, which broadcast on two different frequencies. I don't see how they solve that one without "orphaning" one service or the other. Maybe one satellite can be set up to broadcast both signals so all the receivers out there keep on working. We'll just need to stay tuned...
