No mine is DS, I don't know if matte black or glossy black will look better

 

Maybe you could find one that has a checkerboard pattern of glossy and matte?

 

TJTULL, I live in Rolla, MO and am a member of the St. Louis Mini Club. Who put your stripes on? I have an 02 MCS, Pure Silver and want the same stripes.

 

Man, we got some nice Minis in this thread. I think I made my choice on stripes too! After review, I think the "sport stripe" is much nicer than the bonnet stripe in my opinion.

 

I'm a member as well, but haven't been to an event since last summer.

I got my MCS at Baron MINI in Kansas City. They have a subcontractor that does amazing work on stripes and tinting. That's who did mine. There's probably a detailer in the STL area who could do yours.
