I've been in the OXSpeed MINI, and all I can say is that it's the fastest CAR I've ever been in. Pretty unbelievable.

Had to post this. The black MINI in this shot belongs to my SA at my dealership. About 3 weeks ago he was running with a Z3, and hit a deer. It jumped up as he hit it and it ended up on top of the car - hood ruined, windshield smashed and the deer head was in the general vicinity of his open sunroof. The owner of the Z3 had his top down and was following - had he been leading instead, I hate to think of the outcome.

This car 3 weeks ago had a huge white lightning bolt on the side and the Challenge wheels were silver. It also has the JCW wing (hard to make out) and an Invidia exhaust. Looks and sounds amazing.

 

 

Are your wheels the Konig Deceptions? Love the color combo of the grill and headlight surrounds!

 

Your SA has great taste. His car has all the JCW touches I wish mine had (engine, aero kit, wing, challenge wheels plus the rally lights). If you run into him again, tell him there's a black MINI on the west coast with some major envy.

I'll let him know - he's one of the leaders for my run so I'll be seeing him in a few days.

There's something about those driving lights that make the front end very menacing - he was in my rear view the day I took that shot. Drool city.

 

Albie- after following your link to MTTP, I can't believe what you've created!
What a great event you have going there. 6 days and counting! I've been able to meet up with a few MINI owners here on the west coast, but a club/event run is what I'm looking forward to.

@ MinMin2010 Looking good ...Which rear diffuser is that again? How do you like it? Did it require cutting for install, kind of looks like it would? And what are your opinions on the C-Wing so far? I've been so back and forth about it over the past couple years, I want one but I'm not sure if it's too big in person. Thanks!

The diffuser is from 3D Design. I bought mine through VIVID RACING. It did require some cutting. They provide a template to use to make the right cuts. The install took me about 45 minutes. As for the C-Wing, I like it. It blends very well with the car. You really need to see it mounted in person.

She is very mean as you may be able to tell from the Mars Taskforce plate, and the dead bugs all over her face! In her spare time, while she is not taking me back and forth to the flightline she is out hunting zombies Its funny, because I never asked her to do this... she just does it all on her own where does she find the time?
