I didn't get the feeling that there was any attempt to shortchange me, just an oversight. I do have the run-flat tires, but if I change them out I need to have the tools.
That makes no sense at all.

Up here in the Great White North the MINI JCW comes with painted wheel arches as standard. It looks good with some colours, and not-so-much with others.

What's strange is that the JCW body kit is NOT available on the MINI JCW up here! WTF? I got into a minor arguement at the dealer about it, but he swore it wasn't even listed as an option, and he showed me the book. When I looked online, sure enough, it's missing from the configurator. I could have sworn it was there when the JCW first went online.

That is why I went with the white and black theme. PW/B because I didn't like the black wheel arches with any other color. As long as they stay good looking I won't mind if they start to fade and need coating all the time I will have them painted black.

Mellow Yellow / Black would also look better with the standard black wheel arches.

Wait a minute! So, to make sure I understand this right, you can get painted wheel arches from the factory regardless of if you have the aero kit or not? If so, I'm hacked, as I would have definitely preferred that on my LiB/W cooper!!!
