I love it!
ebaY's been a good experience for me so far. I only have 180 feedbacks and about 80% is from the sellers. If ebaY or Paypal screwed me I would be mad also... But if you leave ebaY, what are the alternatives?

I sell mostly my old Macs, so I list them on line here or there, my area has a local free posting and it works great!

Sorry... if you are going to bold and underline a word, at least use the correct word, which would be traitor.

No need to watch your back. I messaged the seller on ebay with a link to this thread. Trader? Traitor you mean? You had no original intention of buying the car - your excuses were "I am getting out of ebay" "I am going to use the assembled in Germany to get out of the sale".

Your concerns about the quality of the sale are valid but you brought those up after you put in a bid and not before like any reasonable and intelligent person would (because you had no intention of honoring your bid). I don't think it would have mattered if Jesus himself was selling the car - you weren't going to buy it.

As for the need to attention, it's hypocrisy at its finest - if you need that explained, you have my sympathies. I am no fan of ebay but I wouldn't go around bidding for the heck of it and then later go around trying to justify my reasons for not honoring the bid. I'd go as far to say that the purchase reason you've mentioned later in the thread is bogus but that would be speculation.

Yea must have clicked spell check to fast, however that must mean it OK for him to scam others....you approve.... ???

What ever, Oh and just to let you know I am looking for a S, that was posted months ago, not that this or anything else is your business.

No more to say to you at all....

Missing the point are we. You highlighted the scam issues after you put in the bid. You could've reported the seller to ebay but hey if you want to play Dirty Harry, that's none of my business. If you are in the right, what will linking this thread to the seller do? Nothing right? I not only don't approve of scammers but also I don't approve of tags like "traitor" and "attention seeker".

Edit: I take back what I said about the S but I stand by the rest of what I said - whatever that's worth.

It's not worth very much. You've done your good deed for the day.
Talking about things you don't really have a good grasp on now do you.
She was looking to buy a car, saying she was going to put in a bid and didn't care if the deal didnt' work out due to her not caring about her Ebay feedback any longer does not equal what you decided it did.
Who cares if you alerted this false advertising ebay seller, at least they now know people are on to them. At the very least they need to do more research before selling such a high ticket item! Come on! It's obvious that the car does NOT have power seats!! That is the sellers responsibility as well as the winner to check the vin on the car to make sure what she is buying is legit.

Car sellers like that ruin the reputation for all of them. They need to stop as well.

Hey Cindy, nobody likes a tattletale. Now tell Alice to make me a pie and then hop back on that Swiss Miss box.
