Have fun when you get sued too. Best offer is legal contract to buy. Sure, you can get out, but if the other person wants to spend money pursuing it, they may get damages out of the right judge. Especially when they point to this thread and say you interfered with other possible offers.
I usually dont shock easily at some peoples stupidity, but WOW this guy is way below that level. Then if someone is dumb enough to buy it they should be shot.

He doesnt have a leg to stand on. He clearly mis-represented the car to the public. It does not have "Power Everything" and "leather seats". BOGUS.
Cybergypsy....You are crackin me up here! You go girl!

No one has really bought it. Reread this thread. Cybergypsy put in an offer with no intention of going through with the purchase. He/she is mad at ebay and is planning on "sticking it" to ebay and the seller. The offer has been accepted.
I'm probably old school, but I think that it's bad that a NAM member with 1500+ posts would be screwing around like this.

Not old school. You are just being sensible. That's even before there was any school. I have my gripes with ebay but what I see here is uncool. I'll save my judgement as to how this reflects on NAM but the seller is a 100% feedback seller and f'ing around with this seller seems pretty juvenile to me. Thank you for having the sense to post sensibly aafflyer
Just wanted to point out that the ad is most likely a scam posted from a hacked eBay account although most of the time when they run one like this the "buy it now" is ridiculously low. Check the feedback....it is all namby pamby ***** and the last feedback received as a seller was a year ago. Then again, I guess every car dealer's feedback has to start somewhere....I've seen the scam tons of times. You win, they ask you to send a deposit, and you say "bye bye money".
I had a guy running for his life some time ago. I saw a car on eBay that looked familiar and it turned out that I had seen it on Autotrader. In that case, the eBay ad was real but the Autotrader ad was fake. Got the sheriff's office involved as the Autotrader ad was local. Never turned into anything though.
I had mini run the vin, not leather and no powerseats, just wrote to him telling him I will not take the car and he needs to fix his ad if he relists or i will report it to ebay.
So he emails and tells me its leather, and it does have power seats, I told him i called mini and they laughed,,,, asked him to send a picture of the powerseat button...

Obviously a scammer then. Just wants to get the 500$ deposit and run.
