No, it's not correct. The blades do fit the 2nd gen models. Just keep in mind that you need one 18 and one 19 because one blade is longer than the other.

I can only speak for the SilBlades, but they're really easy. You just squeeze the "thingy" on the current blades and pull them off. You then snap on the right mounting bracket onto the new blade and push it onto the "stick thingy". Okay, so I sound like an idiot, but I am stupid when it comes to car stuff and had it figured out in about 45 seconds. Easy peasy.

Lots of folks have had problems with those new "blade" wipers (like the Bosch Icon or Valeo ).

They complain that the wipers don't perform as well as the standard wipers do. They tended to lift at speed and they don't make full contact with the windshield.

I returned a set for this very reason and got the standard Silblades.

Humm....not good....my wife's BMW 3 series has the OEM version and they seem to work very well. That's why I am/was considering them for my MCS.

Tell your dealer to look up part number 61 61 0 034 748
Even though there's only one number sure enough (just checked) the new blades on my car are different lengths. Perhaps they cut down one for the other side.
