u kno this turned out to be a pretty funny thread.
i just had a thought. for halloween we should all follow through with
all this talk of moose antlers and ox horns and go nuts with our
minis. i think i mite just go simple and put a giant white sheet over
mine and cut out holes for the head lamps.
and the day after, someone can start a thread and post pics.

I love that idea! If only I had an orange mini it would be the perfect pumpkin! I think I might try to make Milly look like a skull or something, seeing's as she's already pepper white!

That's a really good idea. I plan on driving around with a white sheet over my mini a lot, once I get the confederate flag put on of course. We should have a meetup some night.

If it wasn't so ugly (sorry ), it could be great cause people would give more "respect" on the road (and won't cut your way for example)!

Yes. I heard on Antiques Roadshow that the value of items go way up if one does not remove the patina.

I'm sure that is what the Bug's owner is keeping in mind.

And the duct tape looks vintage -- a handyman's best friend!

This is the most asinine thing I've ever read. Unwritten code... ethics, Jesus really? This guy went out, earned some cash and bought the car he wanted to buy he can do anything he wants to it. If he wants to park it out on his front yard and shoot it up with a .22 that's entirely within his rights.

Man when I read "I'm concerned with this new breed of MINI owners", I pictured you reading the original post being simply aghast at what had been typed and dropped your monocle into your Hors d'age brandy.

Seriously really asinine.

I kind of thought it was sarcastic too at first, till you read the two or so after wards.

Besides sarcasm isn't all that great it's the lowest form of wit.
