Why? I've never seen a faded metallic. I've seen lots of faded solid red, and blue cars.

Yep, agreed. But, I'll wager that the metallic will show less wear than the solid colors for small stone chips. I noticed this with my '02 metallic painted M3, as compared to my wife's Chili Red Mini. Just my thoughts..

Ive heard the price is going up but figures from all over. Ive heard just a couple a hundred, then i have heard 5-7%!!

Hoping just a couple hundred cuz i think im gonna have to get an 09 order slot
