Nut & Bolt Torque Specs>>>
First...hello all.. newbie to this forum (already posted the customary first post over on the 1st Gear forum) and do not quite yet have a MINI. We just received today a VIN so looks like about 3rd week in July we should have our MELOYELO S. I am collecting a few mods in advance and was wondering if there is a reference site for torque settings for fasteners for the R56? I am putting a JCW strut tower brace on and switching front rotors to JCW types with a performance pad so info dealing with the nuts at the towers and caliper bracket bolts is what I am looking for at this point.
Or should I just go and purchase a shop manual?
Thanks for any assistance
Michael

No shop manual available at this time to us. Bentley will probably have one out in a year or so if one goes by the way the 1st gen one was released.
MINI/BMW does not sell or make this information available. Your dealer might look it up on their system for you but I'd not bet the farm on that.

I'm still waiting for a Bentley manual as well. They just haven't made one and don't really seem that interested from what I read on their site's forum.
On a 07 R56, Brake caliper steering knuckle is 110Nm and brake disc to wheel hub is 27Nm. Those 3 nuts on the top strut to body connection are 34 Nm.
