I didn't get the alarm installed, ...kind of wishing I did.

We're pretty satisfied with all the options we chose, however I thought we may have made a mistake with the Brushed Alloy trim. Not the brushed metal itself (which we love), but the oval-shaped door bezels that are finished in a flat, gray matte plastic surface. Turns out they scratch very easily and after inadvertantly damaging two of the pieces in less than 2 mos., we figured we were headed for trouble. We ended up installing some 3M clear bra material over the surfaces (which was fairly inexpensive compared to factory replacements) and it looks great (glossy like Fluid Silver) while protecting the area from key/seatbelt/fingernail scratches, as well as sunscreen from your skin (which marrs the finish, btw)!

Aside from that, we love the Punch Leather so far (not Lexus or Mercedes quality but very nice); love the color-line and chrome-line interior; love the sun-roof (but must work on a better shade ); like the upgraded stereo (not great by any means, but better than stock, particularly if you've no plans to go aftermarket); like the Auto AC better than we expected to; like the factory center arm-rest, and MFSW mainly for the cruise control. While I prefer the 16" wheels for cost and comfort, I wish there were more choices, particularly the PACE style, love those! All in all, we'd probably make the same choices again, but wish there were more color choices for the interior seating that are lighter in color and not some combination of black.

I went w/ the chrome lined interior, ....no scratching on my door handles.

I also went w/ punch leather. Yes, it's not as nice of a leather as in my Porsche, yet it's very nice in my opinion and wasn't too much extra. I think the punch leather is one of the best priced options in my opinion.

Well l thought l would offer some advice. l already own a 03 MC with w/ the Conv. Pkg, Sunfoor, Xenon lights, fogs and a kid in the backseat...l didn't order that it kind of showed up one day. So instead of getting a bigger car l sold, and that's what needs to be done, on getting a Clubman.

It won't go into producting until mid Oct 09' but here's what it'll have;

Sport seats = l travel 300 miles one way twice a week, the extra support is agreat addition plus it keeps me in the seat better around those curves that are under rated at 25 mph and you can still do at 55 mph.

Xenon Lights!! l love lights! On the MC l have 4 extra rally lights on a light bar l got off of EBay. lt is manufactered here in PHX and comes with a bracket that fits in the middle to secure it better to the frame and get no vibrations. The Xenon lights a fantastic for not making your eyes tired plus they light up the road.

Nav System l did alot of research as to if was worth 2,000.00. Just trying to find one to look at was a challange, doesn't anyone like them? l have a Navigon in the MC and l like it, just wanted something in the dash. It is made by Harmen/Becker and uses, like everyone else, Navtec software. l couldn't find anyone to help show me the voice part of it. You can tell it things to do and it will do it ( l wonder if l can get the Opt. to hook it up to my daughter). I've read about the dealer giving out old releases so l'm working on getting my "motoring advisor" to write a note saying it will come with the latest release, which was 03/08

Hi Fi Sound An extra 500 bucks!! Hello were in a recession!! Boy, that's a lotta cash and for what? So of to research land. Again, it's made by Harman/Becker. The Harman part is the part of Harman /Kardon. The Becker part, well they've been cars forever. They are the parent company of places like JBL, Harman/Kardon and Lexicon just to name a few. So JBL products are ok, Harman/Kardon, better and Lexicon that's a company that makes great high end audiofile stuff. So ok l could use that

Center Arm Rest, Fog Lights, Automatic A/C, Cream White Colour Line, and the Multifunction Steering wheel. You'll need this if you want Cruise Control.

And l got it in Sparkling Silver w/ black roof. When it gets here it will got to the paint shop to paint over all the black paint in the back. l'll still leave the back beam black but everything else....see ya!!

Happy Motoring, ghryll
