Wow ur one lucky duck. My friend ordered hers around the same time and its going to take 8 weeks So happy Mini Day!! Love it, cherish it, drive it.

 

5 weeks on the dot here as well . The deciding factor really is how close your dealership is to the VDC. The closer you are, the sooner you can take delivery.

 

Cool - mine took 56 days - you must be so hyped picking itup tomorrow! Congrats!!

Very nice, congrats! I'll be lucky if mine even begins production 5 weeks from my order date!

 

I'm not a newbie, I'm trading in my 06 for the 08. I'll post pics as soon as I can. The dealer is two hours away...

 

Congratulations to everyone on thier new cars, but how can you stand 56 days? I was going nuts over my delivery so they got it to me in 35 days!

From watching all my fellow shipmates, I've come to these conclusions on speed of delivery:
1) how long do you wait for your ship.
2) Clubman/non-clubbie - The Clubmans seem to have a backup in getting produced. Not surprising given that they are new and in very high demand.
3) location of VDC, only because if you are west coast, the ship take lots longer to get there. Bimini came in though SC and only spent about 48 hours at VDC and that was over a weekend before hopping a truck to Dallas. Only 2 days on the truck to the dealer.

 

Congrats! Be sure to post pics!! They told us 6-8 weeks on our's but hope we get lucky and it is only 5 like yours!!
