Because there will be an unsightly blank toggle switch position on the center stack set of toggles. If you are anally OCD like I am it will cause heart palpitaions every time you get into your MINI. Plus it is a great and inexpensive safety feature that I think should be standard

Hi, My husband and I just ordered our MCS on Saturday also!!! Yeah, it will be fun to keep track on how they are coming along!
We were told our production would be the third week and May and we should have it by the last week in June.................I wonder how come they told you July............We are in Ohio............We are already not wanting to wait until late June, I hope we don't have to wait until Mid July......

My sales person told me they only allow each dealer order so many a week. and that is what pushes it to the next week of delivery!
I think she just pushed me another week!
Well the only thing more tedious than waiting for your MINI to be built and delivered is watching paint dry. I think i managed to read almost every thread on NAM during that 5 week period. I do not wait for things very well and became a general pest lurking about Cincinnati MINI for 5 weeks. It seemed as though there was a collective "Sigh" every time they saw me walking in.

We were just at the Cinci Dealer two weekends ago!!
Great. Who did you talk with. My MA was Jay. Overall i was very pleased with the whole ordering/purchasing experience. Are you going to order or buy off the lot?

so I just checked the owners lounge and the info has been updated so that it now reflects the car that I ordered. One problem though, it doesn't mention the Bluetooth/USB iPod connection... should this be listed or not? everything else seems to be there and correct though.
I hope it comes in June, that's what I was told last week, but then saturday it changed to mid-late July.

I called today to add the rear fog lights and she still didn't mention a production number. i will call tomorrow to see if i can get that.

I'll be at otto's tomorrow, test driving, then calling and putting my order into Seattle, my new home as of mid-July.. I'm hoping it'll be waiting for me when I get there...
