Coolant System Drain

Does anybody know if their is a drain on the Radiator/Coolant system anywhere that is easily accessible? I have looked but can't seem to find one. How do you drain the coolant to replace it?

I am pretty sure the owners manual states the coolant is good for the life of the vehicle, which means you don't have to change it. I don't have my manual with me right now, but I remember reading that.

This is even worse than changing your oil every 25,000 miles.

It is NOT lifetime coolant. Mini recommends changing coolant every 4 years (maint schedule II). see owners lounge. The radiator has to have a drain on it, but you would have to remove a cover. I hear that the ZEREX 5 coolant is approved by BMW. What you are referring to is probably the trans fluid.

This is an old topic. I thought I saw something yesterday about draining coolant. It's not hard to drain and fill, but bleeding is different. I found this helpful. How to bleed cooling system, MINI Cooper R56 N12 Engine https://wiki.bentleypublishers.com/x/AoByAg

Right here

This also shows the vent screw is located next to the coolant temp sensor.
