Now that the DRL are turned back on my '08 MCS all the time my question is can you still use the flash to pass to another MINI Cooper coming in the opposite direction to acknowledge them when they flash you?

BTW I turned them back on for saftey reasons only since I was cut off many times during the daytime by people making u-turns who didn't "see" me flying down the street towards them.

Yes, you can. It is like turning your Hi-Beams momentarily. Glad to see that you are acknowledging other MINIs, that's GREAT!! DRLs are definitely a Safety Feature...Molly has her's on all the time too.

Yeah the MINI Cooper acknowledgment I discovered here on NAM and it is a great way to say "hi" to other MINI owners on the road.
