Ok, so nothing's wrong with the fedora - aaaactually, a great many people would benefit from bringing it back!! I would just TOTALLY disagree with the fedora-coinciding social trend of women wearing polyester skirts, gloves, and hats - but i was trying to make the bridge backwards in time... The "mullet-era" didn't quite cover enough time.

 

I also happen to own a '91 Miata; another great car. A couple of times people have asked me if it isn't a gay/chick car. My response is always; 'well then chicks and gays must have really good taste in cars, because this is a great car'.

 

I hope none of the people telling you it's a chick car drive a BMW Z4!

It's funny I randomly stumbled on this thread. I think stereotypes come with any car.
I drove a Honda Civic Si is was called a Ricer
I drove a GMC Safari Van I was a soccer mom
People always have a stupid opinion of every car. I can honestly say only one of the girls I dated actually liked the mini. But, usually anyone that didn't like it at first liked it after a short drive. The mini is a car that you ether love or hate. My '02 was the first car I bought myself and its special to me. Ive owned others since including a G35c, but they have all gone and the mini is still here. never listen to what others say. Just drive what you like.

I don't even argue...I usually just laugh and say up...clown car.

My brother was making all sorts of remarks until I asked him what his Ford expedition got for gas mileage...then he stopped.

As I was leaving I opened the car up and his face was rather funny...yeah...for a clown car it sure does carve a turn up and well...isn't exactly "slow"

As gas prices continue to climb...we'll be the ones people will look to and say...boy were you smart...yet the still won't realize the amount of fun we're having.
