Is that really enough reason to possibly cost an MA his job? MINI really goes by those surveys, after all.

Puh-leez. I had a verbose discussion of the survey process typed out, but I deleted it.

One survey isn't going to cost anyone his or her job.

My apologies though, for contributing to taking this thread OT.

What happened? Was the MA really misleading you or did something come up that couldn't be helped? There is a strike right now, that will delay things a bit.

i'm somewhat bitter towards my dealership.. just a bit. the service department is RIDICULOUS.. but that's another story all together.. it's almost as if since they got their money, they couldn't care less what happens to me.

Oh.. sidenote? The surveys that MINIusa gives you.. they're not anonymous.. just a forewarning.

my dealer is throwing in free mats "

When we took delivery, we gave our MA a bag full of Jager stuff, including a bottle of Jager. During ordering, he commented on the lanyard my husband had on his keys and we got to talking. He wasn't expecting it and that made it so much fun seeing his reaction.

Still haven't gotten the adventure kit... Emailed MiniUSA today about it.

Got full set of rubber mats thrown in for both Minis (girlfriends set was mailed to her immediately), free pack of Mini mints and Mini Sales rep says Adventure Pack will be mailed out for both cars.

I also filled out the survey and commented that entire experience was great, but not getting lifetime Sirius with $900+ part/service install was ridiculous. When I picked up car after install I called Sirius I found out dealer gave me a lifetime subscription!

I don't know if I should be jealous, pouting, drowning in envy, or all of the above.

Is it available in different colors and sizes? That would make a great 'oops, I forgot about {insert important date here}' gift with this as hidden replacement.

We got our adventure kit today, just out of the blue. We took delivery toward the end of April. Mousepad, pen, notebook, antenna ball, etc.

We did send our MA a cookie bouquet after we took delivery. He was awesome, answered tons of questions, emails, phone calls. We test drove and then came back several weeks later for more questions. We didn't order ours until 6 weeks after we first made contact with our MA. I just thought it was a nice touch for all the hand holding he did.

I'm not sure exactly, but the doll probably has a BMW part # on it.
Try going to the parts counter (or salesman) and asking.
Kinda like my Kyosho 1:18 scale models... they got BMW part #s on it too.
One of my bulldogs is naked, but the other one has a red jacket on it.
Not sure if there are other clothes for the dog. lol.

The bulldog is MINI part # 80 28 0 411 779

Here he is on the Morristown MINI website: http://www.trademotion.com/partlocat...catalogid=3777 It costs $19.20.

On the MINIUSA website, if you go to the accessory store, then look at Kids Playthings (http://www.motoringgear.com/#/PRODUCTS/KIDS/PLAYTHINGS) you'll find one for $26 with a red MINI jacket.

Just received a glass candy jar (MINI logo on front) with a bag of Russell Stover butterscotch candy to go with it. This came from the dealer (who's general manager is named........Russell Stover. At delivery I got two keychains. I had asked for rubber mats to be thrown in but I found out that the MA was going to have to pay for them out of his pocket (which he was willing to do) but I didn't think that was fair...I did ask him to give me his employee discount and let me pay for them - which he did.

Fleece blanket

I just got my MINI on 6/17 and yesterday I got a black fleece blanket with the Mini logo and my dealers logo on it. My cat has already adopted it.

MA also through in floor mats. I think this dealer does that for everyone.

Hope to get the adventure kit soon. I hate feeling left out.
