I've lost my mind!.

I am coming off a lease for the last three years driving a convertible
Audi, 6 cyl. A fun car in the summer and a goat in the snow. Now that the Spring in New England will start to push the Winter cold, I KNOW I will miss it dearly.

So I started to rationalize all the reasons why I would want a MINI:

1. I always smile when I see one.
2. The payment per month will drop big time.
3. GAS savings are a big lure.
4. I behave young!
4. I am 48 so why not!

My dealer worked with me with great patience for a couple of weeks until he found me a certified pre-owned loaded with options and then I added some. I am taking delivery this Friday.

This Forum has been an invaluable source of information and I want to thank all of those who share their knowledge and let others gain an understanding of your experiences.

so this is what I will end up with

2007 Cooper S British Racing Green White Top very low miles
Packages:
Cold, Convenience, Premium, Sports
Automatic Transmission
Aerodynamic Kit
Chrome Line Interior
Anthracite Headliner
HiFI
Navigation
Leather Tuscan Beige
Park Distanc
White turn signals

Added:
Sirius
IPOD adapter
100k Extended Service
invisishield

I cannot wait until Friday to go and pick it up.

thanks again

Francis.

Wow,

that's pretty loaded. I'm sure you will fall in love with your new MINI, and you'll forget your old Audi quickly...

Well Francis, welcome to "OUR" world. You appear to have purchased yours fully loaded and not much "modding room" but non the less, a great buy! I've had my MINI and am quite known for tiring quickly of vehicles. I purchased my MINI in Aug 07 and I daily do a walk around it before getting in to drive.

This is car is an absolute blast to drive! You might consider sleeping in it on friday night! Welcome again to our "cult"

You'll love the Mini. I have a Mini but my boyfriend is an Audi guy (he has a TT and a RS4). He even thinks that it's fun driving my Mini.
