One thing that is conspicuously missing from the Mini is a temperature gauge. I don't believe that you can even order one as an accessory. This is a gauge that is standard equipment on most all cars as well as an oil pressure gauge. If you want one you have to buy it from some after market site, and from what I have read, it's not exactly a snap to install. Considering that the Mini's are somewhat pricey for a car that size, I think that it's kinda cheap of Mini not to have one. Maybe they figure that you are better off not knowing
