Hi All,
Hoping someone on this forum might be able to help me. I'm working on a project that requires metric 14-1.25 bolts. I understand that the newer Minis/R56s use this type of wheel bolt. Is this correct? If so, any ideas on where to get a few? Dealer, or other sources?

You timed your inquiry perfectly. I just faced this problem yesterday on my 2007MCS. I went to Discount tires becasue of vibration issues and was informed that two of my lug nuts were missing on one wheel. It was my fault as I had rotated my tires and must not have tightened the bolts enough. Discount Tires did not carry this bolt size and recommened that i call the dealer. I did and the cost of these is about 11.00 EACH. I would call the dealer. good luck

 

Minimee- thanks for the reply. I see that some folks are replacing the wheel bolts with a M14-1.5 or 12mm stud conversion kits. I wonder then if there aren't some original wheel bolts laying around of no use to them anymore?

 

I dont think the dealers will have any cheap spares. Mine are being special ordered.

 

There have been some on eBay.
