Besides the Mini that's on it's way (which will be my daily driver), my husband and I currently have:

His car, a 2004 Honda S2000

1967 Mustang Fastback
1965 Mustang Coupe

And we're looking for a real beater truck to haul stuff in...now that we've both gone "minature", LOL.

My Mini is now my ONLY car. I sold my Porsche Boxter and Toyota Tacoma to simplify and be a bit greener. After two months I could not be happier with my Mini. What a great car. I am averaging about 34-35 mpg around town and highway (driving 70-80). Super fun, super efficient and super cool.

I almost got the MCS, but I decided that milage was better for me and honestly, it's got enough power to be fun, but is sooooooo good on gas!

Go get one!

I live not too far outside DC and drive a mini as my daily driver. I've only had her for 9 days so far (and dont drive but about 10 miles round trip to work), but she's awesome!

I went from a 4 door truck to a 2007 Mini. There's not much I miss about the loss of interior space and hauling space. With the back seats down in a Mini you have fairly good room for stuff. If I have something BIG to transport I have some BIG friends with BIG vehicles I'll call. They do ask to drive the Mini in return.

I have a MCS 07 and I also own a 05 Xterra. I've had the Mini since June and it only has 3,200 miles on it. I'm afraid one of them has to go and I don't know how todecide. I've wanted a Mini for a long time and i really like it. TheXterra is paid for but is bad on gas.

It's hard to part with when it's paid for.I sold my '05 MCS(paid off..still miss it) and used the funds to purchase my '07 MC.Now my '07 is paid off and I'm considering an MCS cabrio(the addiction never ends). You could sell the Xterra and put the money towards your MCS.

I have a scooter that I drive throughout the Spring, Summer and Fall. My poor Mini doesn't get much attention for 5 months a year.

I have a 2007 Lightning Blue MCS. It is my daily drive but when the weather is good I take out my motorcycle. Both of them are very practicaly commuter vehicles. Fuel efficient, Easy to park and head turners too .

Use the MCS as the daily driver, selling my GTI and getting something else this summer (either factory JCW or Boxster).
Still have my modded 05 Tacoma for off-road adventures.

Only car in NY... yes... Perfect for the city.
'71 Alfa is for the weekends in the country (i.e. when I go to visit my parents in Connecticut.)

I'm now feeling the same!

My honda civic had wayyy too many miles for me to get anything decent out of it.
