Dinan

Anyone planning on getting Dinan parts? I call Dinan every other month to see when there releasing parts, and they said it should be a couple more month, I've been waiting for them, should I just get other brands or wait it out????? Im planning on doing my whole call with Dinan.

For whats its worth. I did not wait and ended up doing my own mods on my 2004. I am really happy about my mods, but if I were given the choice today I would wait.

I'd like to see what Dinan can do with the R56, but I'm not waiting. I could always sell my bolt-on parts off if the Dinan package was that appealing.

^+1. Just don't have the patience. Although I doubt I'd sell my bolt-on parts even if Dinan does come out with something better.

True, I really wanna buy an intake at least, but dont wanna spend 260 on one for a month. Hopefully they come out a little early.

Just my opinion here but as you can see I come from a background of Dinan products. Yes, they take longer in the R&D process, but I would say that it's well worth it. I too contemplated not waiting back for my S given the delay, but I can tell you that I am glad that I waited and went with the entire program. I just like the knowledge that all of the parts were engineered to work together. That just cannot be said for many of the other aftermarket parts suppliers. But the fact is that they take time and they are expensive but it's your choice - clearly I've made mine. Best in whatever choice you make. Tom.

Did they mention anything about a bigger turbo upgrade package? Did they give you info on what type of parts they are planning on putting out for the R56?

They didnt mention a bigger turbo yet, but im sure they will be making one. They said most the of R53 parts will be made for the R56 also, and a few parts for the turbo.
