Boy, you've been lucky to have only 2 flats in 20 years! I've had quite a few--last one about 2 years ago. Was lucky in that it occured just as I was entering a toll road with free assistance. I was coming from a freeway with a mandatory $75 tow charge. I heard it going pffft, pffft, pffft just as I passed a concrete barricade, before I had a chance to feel the flat.
So what is the socket size for the R56 wheel lug nuts? Is it 17 mm? I may be investing in a torque wrench and a socket if I decide to rotate the tires on my own.
Yes, 17mm. Get a nice long one so there is plenty of clearance without having to go to an extension.
i rotate my tires every 3000 miles, but since i rotated them my tire preasure sensor has been coming on everytime i turn on my car but then it goes away after i start driving i have checked my tire preasure and they are perfect. has this ever happened to you?
I saw a package deal for 2 jack stands and a hydraulic jack (3 tons)in J W Whitney at a reasonable price and I think you can get a 15% discount coupon.

You have to reset the TPM everytime you rotate tires, or add air.
Do they fit over the R56 brakes? They are larger than the standard R53 brakes, and I thought I read somewhere that they don't fit.
I was told they would fit when I ordered it. I will check this weekend. Glad you mentioned it before I found out it didn't fit when I really needed it to fit.
