I have an '08 OB/B, and it was the only OB in the dealership...which had about 80 MINIS on the lot! After I bought it, two people came back and decided they wanted it...which was kinda tough since I already did. Everyone who sees my car LOVES the color...that's their first comment!!!!

O2B new on Monday

Picked mine up from the dealer in Memphis Monday night. Dealer stock, cold weather package, Wood trim Steering wheel. Wasn't sure about the color at first but I think it stands out. The Wife loves it.

Thanks!!! I have to give the credit for the way my car looks to my husband. I had been lusting after MINIs for a few years and told my husband one weekend that I REALLY liked the O2 Blue that I'd seen. A month or so later he surprised me with the car. He picked everything out and ordered it all by himself. I think he did a smashing job to say the least!!

BTW, there are a couple more photos in my gallery for your wife's viewing pleasure.

Kenau, congrats on your pickup. Are you in the Memphis area? Roadshow is my dealership, though I'm 3 hours away in Arkansas. Between my partner and I, I've now bought 3 MINIs in the past 3 months from them through Carl. Who was your MA?

Keep in mind that at the start of '07 they had Hot Orange on the convertible and then poof it disappeared in April of '07. In August of the same year Cool Blue ended without warning barely.

My fiance and I just got a Chili Red Cooper from MINI of Omaha but the other choice I was looking was an Oxygen Blue that will be in next Monday along with mine. It's an auto with cold and premium package. They also had a Oxy Blue on the showroom floor with a black top but it was a manual. The fiance can't stand manuals so we had to go with an auto.

Well just read that Nightfire Red,British Racing Green and Sparkling Silver will be discontinued this summer to make way for the new citrus colors. No mention of Oxygen Blue on the cut list.

Surprising, that many have not been selling well. They just got 3 or 4 at the dealer by us, and seen two before that on the road. The color looks much better in person than on-line. If only they made it for the "S" or Clubman, My husband and I personally like the color very much. The color has the vintage look to it.

kumquat orange, sweet lime, and pink grapefruit? what in the world? not sure i understand those color choices. i am glad to see/hear that o2 blue will still be around at least through the summer until mini decides to "retire" it. mini has had alot of blues since 2002-electric, indi, cool, hyper, laser, lightning, and oxygen blue (hope i didnt miss one). i am a big fan of the blue colors though. they all look great in my opinion. i guess we will just have to wait and see. maybe o2 blue will be replaced by sky blue or pacific blue?!

I have an OB/W combo on order. I liked the white rims, too, but my dealer told me they are VERY hard to keep clean. Expect to wash them every 2-3 days, she told me. Based on that, I changed back to the silver.

Also, I am getting boot stripes to match the white bonnet stripes (from aesthetic creations). I think they look great: http://www.aestheticreations.net/gra...s-boothuge.jpg.

OB came out when already had my BRG order in. I toyed with switching as i liked the color. I actually liked the representation on the configurator better than in person. The color perception seems to be very sensitive to how it is photographed. The color still intrigues me very much, but I kept to my heart and followed the BRG order.

It's gotta be a joke. Did you read the second part about canine repellant for wheels? Good one! Bet they had a lot of people going postal over it.

We have an Oxy Blue that is currently "scheduled for production". Our dealer said that is isn't a real popular color.
So I guess it was around for 2007,2008 and 2009.
