R56 Aftermarker bulbs in factory driving lamps
Aftermarker bulbs in factory driving lamps
I have the factory driving lamps installed on my Cooper and I was thinking about switching the bulbs to yellow to help with winter visibility on snowy and foggy nights. The bi-xenons tend to make it difficult to see and I think some yellow in there would help out. No I will not be driving in the city or anything like that with these because I know yellow lights can be hard on some people's eyes.
Has anyone changed out the bulbs on their factory driving lamps? Is it easy to do? Anyone have yellow bulbs in theirs? Do they work well?

H3's go into the factory driving lights.
I would recommend switching the H8 fogs to a severe-weather amber, or yellow first, though. They cast more light down low in front of the car. Works nice.
Check out www.hoen-usa.com for some quality bulbs at a good price. Hoen referrs to them as an "endurance" bulb and they're $39 a pair. They work very well.
