My 2003 Mini's heater/AC fan went out about a year ago. The car was under warranty, and the dealer made the repair. They said that they had not seen this problem before and had to remove the entire dash to fix it. One year later, it's gone out again, but this time the Mini is no longer under warranty.

Has anyone else had this problem, and is there anything I should try or know before I go back to the dealer. I've tried the fuses and that doesn't seem to be the problem.

Dealer repairs carry a 2 yr warranty at my local dealer.

Might want to check in the first gen section, most here are all second gen owners (07+).
