Stop wasting time posting here.....go get that sheet!!

Regarding the manual, talk to your wife and explain how it'll allow you to spend more time together since you'll get to sit next to her and give her driving lessons for several weekends. Might work?!

If you like sporty driving, get the 18" wheels - one of the few options I did not take and I regret it.
No LSDs for automatics yeah? or did that change with 2008?

Not that I've heard. Another reason i would prefer the manual to the auto.

I just ordered my '07 MCS. I went with the leatherette since I really couldn't tell the difference in feel, so it wasn't worth the extra $$ to me. You have to examine the grain to really tell which is which. Mini Towson has many on their lot to compare and I wasn't a fan of the piping, but that goes to personal taste. I felt the options for the dash where overpriced so I went with the standard there too and put the savings toward the 4 big packages (prem, sport, convenience, and cold weather) and the nav. I can't wait to get her!

I can squeeze into much tighter places, with less anxiety, that I could without PDC.
I guess I'm just more familiar with driving much larger vehicles....

But that's what makes the mini great, everyone can have their own options / opinions / individuality.

The order is in!!!

Everything stayed the same as I listed in my first post except I added the cold weather package. Now after reading all the comments about the PDC, I'm thinking about about removing the cold weather and adding PDC. I'm in Georgia, and I don't really use the heated seats in my G35 all that much anyway. I guess I could go with both, but I'm already just over the limit I set for myself...

Thanks to all for the assistance!

Kshark,

Congratulations! I am still on the fence. I did an interesting little experiment with the big 3 used car pricing guides to see how much of a difference there was in the used value between two model years and it really depended on the source!

On Kelly Blue Book, I spec'd (same equipment) a 2005 and 2006 and saw only a $100 difference. On Edmunds, there was a $1076 difference and on the NADA, there was a $1025 difference (between an 04 and 05 - because 06's wouldn't show up)..... So I guess if the 08's are going to cost more than $1000 more, then its a wash.

Did you happen upon the 08 pricing sheet?
