Congrats but you left us all hanging. We can't get a mental image of you driving home in your new MINI if we don't know what color it is!

I'm still a relative newbie here, but I can't tell you how much I look forward to getting in my MINI and driving. I find all kind of excuses for getting in and going for a spin. I go out of my way to avoid home and know every "long way" in San Antonio.

I've driven a lot of cars over the years. I get harassed by wife, friends and kids about my obsession for purchasing new vehicles. They all hold up a stop watch to see how soon I buy a new ride. They have placed bets on the MCS. They are gonna have a very long wait and my only regret is that I can't rationalize or justify buying another one right now! ................ But I'm sure trying! Welcome to the cult! I play with the Cooper builder constantly like a video gamea but I am very happy that I purchased a relatively stripped down version as I'm in the process of modifying it to my tastes. I've got a killer sound system and a new set of 18" shoes for it. Next it's suspension, then intake hoses........etc.

 

Sorry I forgot to mention the color......chili red with white roof.......

Welcome to the fold. I got mine a few weeks ago and look forward to my commute every day now. I used to be glad I only had a 15 minute commute, now I look for any excuse to make it longer.

 

No stripes, however, I did get the lounge leather.....in a dark grey with the piano black accents on the interior.......so far I am loving the driving and the people here on this forum...truely unique people, as well as car.........
