NOW Motoring....

I finally picked up my 2007 MCSm this afternoon. The only problem was they can't seem to pull out the shift-gear so they can install the beautiful shift-gear that Robin made. Guess I'll have to try to get it changed later.

And now I need to think of a name for it.... Here are a couple of pics here, with more later on. Must return to RTFM on programming it.

But before I go, I want to thank IsAMINI and Robin Casady for their invaluable suggestions which lead to this car!

Congrats on the Green Machine. The gold stripes look great.

What's the matter with the folks at your dealer? Are they all wimps?

All ya gotta do is pull up hard. There has got to be someone strong enough for that.

Nice ride. Is that Mini of Sterling? My MCS will be there shortly.

Thanks everyone! I'm really happy with how the stripes turned out. Now if only work and school didn't take up so much of my time.....

MV, the BRG with the GOLD stripes look great. Nice pictures, in the small ones it almost looks like your MINI is blue (on my monitor) but the full size are great.

You got some good advice and a sharp MINI, enjoy your drives. Post more pictures.

Thanks again! Yes, I got the car from MINI of Sterling (Jeff was my MA, in case anyone asked).

A quick question--I've noticed my seatback tend to "rebound" a bit when stop or I lean back against the seatback suddenly. Is this normal, or does it need some tightening up? It's not much, but a bit noticable when stopping.

I've never noticed anything like that.

Got that one too! Not sure what's causing it but it started recently, within the last 2 months or so. It's really annoying, especially if you have to come to a sudden stop. Almost feels like your getting pushed forward.

I was going to bring it up when I went in for my first check-up/service, along with my "hidden" compartment and the various service announcements.
