Thank you bamatt, for sharing your opinion! We of the peerage of the pepper white are kind, tolerant, and patient of those who are still working through karmic issues of belligerence and attitude.

Although we would never dream of stooping to levels of overt challenge, we certainly will politely nod at our guests, invited and uninvited and move (or motor!) on! See?

PS- I'm sure I don't need to point out where the sun is shining in the photo below. Poor little red MINI: stuck where sun doesn't shine. Awwww.

Don't blame me cause you rigged the photo & parked the clearly superior color in the shade so it wouldn't embarass your PW

Blame, bamatt? Wouldn't DREAM of it!!! All MINIs posed willingly and knowingly for that picture. No MINI was harmed.

I'd remind you of the factual evidence that black cars are just plain faster, but if I had it to do over, I'd probably be going with one of the slower colors like Sparkling Silver or Pepper White.

I went with Astro Black because of the trim and pillars being black, but Astro Black isn't really black. And it's a dog to keep clean.

But after a wash and wax, it sure is purdy... especially with my web spoke wheels.

Actually there's a reason they call it British RACING Green.

I thhought it was because green was a lucky color for racers... But I guess if it's lucky, it wins more races.

I wonder if Astro refers to a heavenly body or the cartoon character

The only thing I heard about red is it's the color most likely to get you stopped by cops (even if you're not doing anything wrong).

And returned the preceding night...

She must have been driving a MINI.

Back in ancient times when corporations weren't larger than countries, Formula 1 cars were painted a color assigned to each country. Italy was red (as in Ferrari), France was blue (ever see powder blue Bugatti race cars at historic races?), Germany was silver, and Great Britain was green. It was a specific color, not just any green or red, etc. So, Britain's was called British Racing Green.

Pure Silver would be the easiest to keep looking good. For those who don't want to baby their car it's a great choice.

Whatever color your parents fall in love with is what they should get - except perhaps black since there's too much maintenance for them. One really good detailing w wax (like Epic) to start will provide protection for a long time, and then they just need to give it easy quick washes in between. The most carefree is Pepper White and Pure Silver. I've got the PS with black roof and love it. The white with black roof also looks GREAT - much better than the photos. With Pepper White they may want to consider a complimentary leather package to bring it all together - the default seats won't look as nice w PW.
