Favorite feature

What is your favorite feature in your Mini? After just under 8K on my S, mine is the steering wheel. The grip is great. Very firm and friendly so that it feels safe and solid when held with my left hand while my right is shifting or adjusting the car. A while ago I'd have said 4th gear...just a general comment that I often have the most fun when running it up into traffic and 4th gear means I had a good run. But, steering wheel wins out for now.

So far... shift linkage (but I am still in break-in). I think after some mods it will probably be intake/turbo noise.

The wheel feels real good, I agree. But the best feature is the overall interior appeal like when your finishing up washing the car late in the afternoon and the doors and rear boot are open and I am amazed how rich and unique the interior looks. Totally different from anything out there.

YUP! Amen!!! I also dig all the looks from everyone, EVEN little kids who probably think its a toy or something! It's really funny how they get exited when seeing one!!

I would have to say it is a tie between the right pedal, and the size of the car. The truck I came from was powerful, but you could count to three slowly between when you floored it, and when it took off. I now no longer HAVE to park at the outer edge of the parking lot since the car can get out of any spot. I still do, just because I want to keep it perfect for as long as possible, but I don't have to.

Id have to say first... the start button.. something really cool about not having to insert a key and just hit the button. but since that's such a brief experience...

My Alcantara JCW wheel... pure suede goodness!

That reminded me... I had a nightmare last night. My start button was stuck and it was cranking and cranking even after the engine was started. I could not stop it. I pushed the button but it wouldn't stop!!!!! It was a nightmare.

I'm really trying here but I simply cannot come up w/ one!! So I give up. If we're taking features I get the most amusement out of:

Zippy sound of the Prince engine
Wonderfully notchy shifter
Start Button
The many nuances of English Oak trim in sun and shade
Mood lighting...yes, mood lighting. Highly amusing!!
Secret Compartment...what a hoot!!
and, last but not least...
Oxygen Blue.

Hey, I did good to narrow it down to seven...I could go on, you know!!!

My auto on sport button mod, plus all the options I ordered, I don't regret a single one. Oh, and the color, and how fast it is, and it's handling, and the way it makes me feel. Ok, I'll stop now.

I'd think it's extremely economical because there is a lot of fun packed into each gallon
