Pictures of checkered interior surface?

Does anyone have pictures of the checkered interior surface? I'm going to try to go by the dealer and see what it looks like to me... but I'm currently debating ordering silver or black just to NOT have it... the picture on the configurator makes it look kind of unappealing!

Thanks for your time,

Brian

My wife and I didn't like it so we paid extra for brushed alloy. Go see it in person - that's by far the best way to tell.

I saw one at the delaer the other day. It's certainly not for the timid, but it looks very cool and very Mini!!!

It does look cool, and I almost got it, but I couldn't say no to the brushed alloy.

I was rather frightened by it in the configuratormatronulator (aka, the miniusa website), but in person I was pleasantly surprised at how non-horrid it looked (my girlfriend liked it the best of all the choices our dealer had on the lot).

So check it (and any other options you're considering if your dealer is well stocked) in person before you instantly discount it.

I thought it looked fine, but SO said it gave her a headache and looked cheap. Was gonna go for brushed alloy, but SO fell in love w/ the Oak, so we went w/ that.

I like the black and white checkered interior, if I wasn't so impatient, I would have ordered my MINI and would have gotten it instead of the piano black. My dad has the silver and black checkered interior with the yellow color line, I think it looks pretty good.

There is checkered and CHECKERED! I went with the "checkered" interior and saw photos of the very LARGE block checkered interior...and freaked. The photos above are the standard...checkered. How many times did I use that word in this post......?

Cooper does not allow it - only the CopperS = I really liked it - went with the brushed stainless - would gladly change it with ya if we could - Just my .02 here... I had to drive to a different dealer to check two things they did not have - got one, passed on the other - had to sit and see it with my own eyes... what looks nice to me may not look nice to you... its YOUR car... check it out before you buy... I passed on the cream color line and got the Anthracite head liner.... there ya go..

OMG! I just did the same thing, but luckily found this thread (after my vehicle went into production and I was *REALLY* freaking out) and have decided that I'm going to be just fine. Thank goodness folks posted those grey and black checkered interior surface shots! Very much appreciated!

I like the black + white checker board, but I picked mine off the lot so I have the standard checkered trim. If I were to spec though, I'd go for the B+W... very snazzy!

Here are a couple of photos of the checkers that came standard in my MCS. I like it and we didn't have to pay extra for it. However, I may have it redone in carbon fiber. That's why we didn't pay for any of the other finishes...because if I didn't keep the checkers, I would probably go with CF.

I love it...and it's free (well, sort of...when you buy an MCS).

I also want to eventually get a CF interior trim, but i have a shopping list of other mods that would come first so it will just have to wait...

We need pics of the real checkered interior surface. Has anybody gotten that? The $200 option? I was really close to ordering it but thought it would get old after a while.

The checked silver trim looks great. Plus, it's the only "S only" item in the whole interior! I also recommend the carbon black cloth seats. I checked out all the trim at the Detroit auto show last year. I'm glad I went because the trip saved me $100's.

Any photos available with a totally standard dash? Standard checkered surface with no chrome line or color line.

you can look in my gallery there is a picture from the outside with the door open that you can see the dash. it's not the best picture to show the standard checkered surface though
