I like them. Sounds the line between 07 & 08 is being blurred - there was mention that some 07s were getting a USB port, and a re-designed center arm-rest.
is there a thread that discusses what the 2008 model will have over the 2007 models? ive heard things such as the USB and auto window up but is there anything else?... i guess now the door sills.
Speed display for the criuse control (on the OBC I believe) is another 08 feature. It's also appearing in the week 32+ builds according to other NAM members.
Yes.. my dealer has told me the door sills have changed along with some of the sounds on the interior.. now if i could find out about the usb adaptor.. that would be great..
But I still prefer aftermarket custom sill plates. Very easy way to make an eye-grabbing statement about your MINI. The possibilities are endless, just use your imagination.
I have a set one one MINI and working on a set for another.
QUITE nice! So is it safe to assume that my week 35 will have 'em!?! If so then I guess I won't be dropping 600 bucks for the illuminated ones after all :-D

this is what i heard too..USB and auto window up. i was just there at the dealer. i forgot to ask them, how the usb interface will differ from the ipod interface. does anyone know? does the ipod interface connect to the nav and lists playlist on nav?
I picked up my week 32 MINI today - my car doesn't have the USB port, but I did get instructions on how to use it, in both a "supplemental manual" and the Radio Boost manual. You can plug in a flash stick but not a hard drive, and controls are similar to iPod or MP3 CD.
I have the new door sills and the "sport" message on the digital part of the tach when the Sport button is pressed. Haven't tested the one-touch window up or the cruise speed setting indicator.

Our car started production on 7/25 and completed on 7/30 and it has the speed display on the cruise control. I just noticed it today when we put the cruise control on for the first time. Figured it was something we had missed during the test drive. Very cool.
