can we see pics of the speed display on the cruise control
Certainly! Here's the display. It comes up when you set the cruise speed or +/- adjust it, and stays up for about 5 seconds or so. The little triangle above the curve will move as you +/- the speed. This is a production week 30 car, BTW.

I wonder if that is simply a software change and could be added to earlier '07 models in a software upgrade?
anyone have any news on the change to the arm rest... im putting in an order next wensday and i would really like an arm rest from the factory but ive heard the old ones like to open up a lot and have no storage space
Our car started production on 7/25 and completed on 7/30 and it has the speed display on the cruise control. I just noticed it today when we put the cruise control on for the first time. Figured it was something we had missed during the test drive. Very cool.
yup i got mine a week before you and i have it as well
ok, i called my min dealer and they stated that yea it should be an "S" and i can take it back to them and have them fix it, he also stated that any mini should do it since its not built correctly, so i called the mini which is 8 miles from me, they stated that it might be something they would charge me, i guess ill have to pay for them

Strange things happen sometimes at the factory. I remember one US NAM member got his MINI with MINI One sills!

I'd argue that, and escalate it through management and MINIUSA if necessary. It should have come from the factory with MINI Cooper S sills, not Cooper. Granted, it's not a major piece of equipment, but still, it's not what you paid for. (Or just get custom ones! )
