Ahh! Potholes scare me!

still not used to the lil car ;p so dont know if its norm for the lil car so ;p like when u find the lil potholes while goin kinda fast ish and u get that loud thump is that norm since its so low and small? im used to a lexus and a big truck so i didnt have that so just making sure im not killing poor goliath! sry if its a dumb question to!!! but better safe than sry!

Try to avoid holes. Some of the ones around where I live could swallow my car whole!

I agree. Potholes are a road hazard to be avoided. So are rock haulers (these scare me for a whole other set of reasons).

i know i try to avoid them but u still have the occasional one u miss or a bump in the road and i get it i wana just make sure nothing bad is goin on!

ha and oh yeah hwy 25 near me is horrible... and due to the heat parts of the road have shifted and have 3 to 6 inch lips and drop offs!!! so i take the long way :P

You're probably okay, but it really depends on the severity of the pothole and your speed. As far as jolts, R56 is much less harsh than my R50 was, never mind an R53 on runflats. I even dodged plastic bags floating across the road in my R50 (power steering fan located down below). Heck, I even dodged puddles so I wouldn't mess up my wheel wells!!! MINI handling comes in real handy at times like these.

ha ya well thnx ;p just i dont wana use its abilities while others cars are next to me and its generally packed like that that would make for a bad introduction ;p

True, true....I don't mind inconveniencing myself (pulling off the road/taking a longer route) but certainly not others.

Yeppers - look out for those potholes especially after it rains and you can't tell how deep they are.... we got a bent rim and flat tire from one...
