Uncle Albert looks fit and trim and ready for the road. I think you will have a hard time keeping him in check during the break in period. He looks like he really likes to run. Congratulations! I know your having fun.

Damn! Nice looking. I had been considering this combo, except for the wheels, but they look wonderful on there. Are those the same sport stripes from the configurator? I didn't realize they extended down onto the bumper.

Congratulations... enjoy, and feel free to post up more pics.

Live a little, be a gypsy, get around,
Get your feet up off the ground,
Live a little, get around.

Love the stripes, mate.
It's a good name.

Actually, they aren't quite the factory sport stripes. I was having a conversation with my MA and telling her that I was wishing the factory sport stripes covered the bumpers and lower spoilers (trying to do everything possible to avoid the dreaded "cute" comments). She said she could delete the factory stripes and have it done by their installer. Bottom line...same as the factory except they cover the bumpers and lower spoilers and cost $80 more. IMO, well worth it if it avoids even 1 "cute" comment

Alright, I feel like I need to confess about the wheels. These are NOT true R90's. They are exact knockoffs (right down to the rivets and +48mm offsets) that I bought on Ebay for $100 a wheel instead of the $480 a wheel quoted by the dealer.

I am sure that this will start the usual debate about unsprung weight but the fact is that these wheels are 21.6 lbs versus 22.6 lbs for the crown spokes I took off. I just loved the looks of the wheel but not willing to spend the $2,000 for the "real deal". I am not an Auto Crossers....blah, blah blah.

From looking at the sale prices of Crown Spokes on Ebay, I ought to be able to break even or possible make a buck or two on this swap...seems good to me!! Anybody want to buy the Crown Spokes???
