Just be careful if you drive to California. Living in Arizona most zonies like the dark tint to ward off our desert sun...but if you take your dark tint into CA, the highway patrol will not only pull you over for it, they will assist you in removing it on the spot!

good thing i don't plan on driving to califorina then
I find it interesting that whatever the state limit is, most go one step more, myself included. I guess mini owners are just rebels by nature. I also think there is a variety from mfg. to mfg. as to how dark a given percentage appears. Anyway the tint job looks good.
I find it interesting that people are willing to risk getting a ticket and either having to rip out the too-dark tint or park their cars. Some cities in Oregon have started buying the meters that can be used to read the light transmission and are ticketing violators.
The shop I went to spelled out the 35 percent legal limit and said they couldn't go beyond it on the windows. And that's exactly what I would expect a reputable shop to do.
I can't believe ones in other areas would blatantly ignore the law. Looks like they could almost be held liable by an owner who was cited and had to remove the offending film.
