Q's about Invisishield clear bra

1st I want to say "hello" to everybody. This is a great site

Anyway, I'm trying to put together a list of options for a Mini Cooper S for She Who Must Be Obeyed. I have tons of questions but for now I'm wondering about Invisishield clear bra.

1) Is there any advantage to ordering Invisishield at the time of placing the car order or just the same to have the dealer install it later (I assume it's a dealer installed option as opposed to factory or port installed, yes?)

2) Who makes the film for Invisishield? I'm partial to 3M or Venture Shield myself.

Thanks.

dlrs will tell you best to have their installers do it. Must sub-contract it out.
Parts are not pricey, its the install cost that adds up.

Negotitate--should be able to get it for around $600. for dealer or find a local guy with a good reputation. I prefer the leverage of the dealer in case there are problems even if it costs a bit more.

Make sure you are inquiring about warranties for it. The dealer installed clear bra for me would only have had a 5 year warranty. I went with a local installer of the Venture Shield product with a lifetime warranty.
