Is it just me or does everyone else think that the MINI order tracking system is cool? Being as **** as I am, I'm glad that i can track my MCS from start of production to delivery. When I ordered my S2000, all Honda ever told me was the production date and when it finally arrived at the dealer after 4 agonizing, painful months. MINI and its parent, BMW, rocks.

 

Actually the online tracking is woefully behind reality. While in production, you'll get more current information from the ASK-MINI number. After it's out of production you should check out the threads about tracking your MINI by the ship its on. When you know that, you can join the support group thread for your MINI's ship.

Read up on things by looking at the stickied threads in the 1st gear forum.

Tracking your MINI will be an addiction. You might want to join the MOCD (MINI Obsessive Compulsive Disorder) support group.

 

that feeling of tracking your own car... definitely makes ordering a Mini a unique experience!

Yep - the tracking system is definitely cool!!! And people who are non-MINI peeps just have no idea how much fun it is. We've tried to tell them - they don't believe it until we actually showed them how it's done..

Hopefully your MCS will be loaded onto a ship that is equipped with the weather reporting systems so you can track it coming across the "pond" on sailwx.info not all ships utilize the service.
