Need Cruise Control Repair Info

Just had the MCS at the dealer for three days while they figured out how to install the rear bike rack. It is totally awsome and worth the wait and money.

BUT...

I also wanted them to repair the cruise control that turns itself off. This isn't a bump the brake , hit the button problem, it really just shuts off. I know others have had the same problem and I need specifics about the repair. My dealer can't find the problem and suggests further monitoring.

HELP

The repair is easy. They need to re-install the software. Several of us have had it done. Works fine afterwards.

I have the same problem on my '02--supposedly feedback from something else that is regularly used. Brake switch replacements haven't worked? Have you found solution? If so, I'm interested; if not, I'll forward any new info to you.

I haven't been back to the dealer yet and haven't had the car on the highway so the problem hasn't resurfaced, but I know it is still there. I'm going to print out the software fix info next time I take the car in.
