I thought the orange turnies made the MINI look cross-eyed. It was worth $100 to have the astigmatism repaired.
Gonna change out to BMW part #63 217 160 897 for silver bulbs.
Hey, we're just talking looks here, so it comes down to who's beholden. I opt'd for clears.
Que the music:
"I like big butts and I cannot lie........"

Or something like that!

I'm getting 'em. Tomorrow afternoon after work, I be a ordering me uh MINI!!!!! Cool!

If I don't like them (fat chance) I'll swap them w/ Aonach...they have first dibs.

Now, the toe tapping wait ensues. tap...tap...tap...is it here yet?

Heck, I'll send you my stock "S" chrome venty things for free. (You just pay shipping.) I'm not using them.

Oh, and I did NOT want to pay $100 for non-yellow turn signals. Didn't seem worth it to me. But I've never been one to take apart factory head- or tail-lamps to remove those yellow bits. They just don't bother me.

Thanks.

Painful, very painful to wait. I'm not liking this too much and it's only been 2 days.

Pick up a hobbie, find something to do b/c the wait is not fun at all. But think about how excited you are going to be when your baby arrives.

I like the way it looks with the non-yellow signals, but don't think it is worth 100 bucks either. They were free when I ordered the car, but cost 100 bucks by the time I picked it up...

I put Lamin-X smoke film over my side turn signal lens. Picture in my gallery. The owner's manual says to push the lens toward the front of the car to release it. Actually (at least on mine), it has to be pushed toward the rear.

Hey Dan,
You've got a deal! Actually I think I'm going to be ordering one of your LED kits in the next few weeks....perhaps you could ship them with that? (I will of course pay for any additonal shipping cost)

So this is one of the very last things I'm musing over before ordering a car tomorrow. Does anyone have any links that show the back end of a laser blue MCS with the white turn signals versus the orange ones? I'm looking around and so far haven't found one. If you just get the stock turn signals, are the little blinkers on the sides of the car orange? It's confusing when I look in Mini's catalogs. I think a lot of their cars are configured with the white ones.

Thanks --

Kathy

For the blinkers on the side of the car, white is standard for an S, orange is standard for a Cooper (non-S).

Got them here. My car was already on order and I change the order to include them at that. Not a bit sorry about the change. Sets the car off nicely.

I didn't order the rear fog lights though. I wish I would have. Any extra lights on the back of the Mini seems to be a good thing for those famous pipe sniffers.

Thanks for your replies! And Krut, thanks for the pictures. I'm still sitting on the fence here.... I don't think I even thought about it until I saw the "fried egg" comments. In some ways I like the yellow in the back and the clear in the front. Too bad you can't have them build it that way. Wonder if you can.... Maybe I'll ask!

I'm trying to decide between BRG/W and CR/W. The BRG looks find (almost good) w/ the yellow, and the CR looks much better w/ the white. In my opinion anyway. I agree w/ whoever posted that the black side signal housing on the MC has got to go (at least for the lighter colors (again, it looks find w/ BRG, notsomuch w/ CR)). I'd swap for the S ones, but then I'd be no better than the people who put M badges on their 318 to make it look faster.
