I blame your MA - they should have explained there are more colors than black. I get that you're from Texas and that you couldn't splash some color on your car or the hillbillies would bust your stones and question your manhood.
My MA didn't pay for my new AB/AB MINI....although mine is just a "regular" cooper--I love this car--and it turned out looking just like I wanted it too--monochromatic with just a hint of bling in the interior and exterior...so I happen to agree that Venom is one hot MINI, and I would be happy to introduce him to my girl anytime!

I love the fun colors of the MINIs, but in the end--MY MINI is an all black sporty looking baby girl...AND she matches my F-250. Best of both worlds to me.

Oh--and another thing--I'm a girl who bought an all black MINI. Manhood...whatever.

Sycophants

This forum is filled with sycophants.

Patton said it best: "If everyone is thinking alike, someone isn't thinking."

Check this out: Studies show car color, personality types linked
http://www.tcpalm.com/news/2007/jun/...r-personality/

"black cars represented an aggressive personality"
"This same research revealed that people with black cars were twice as likely to be involved in an accident than people owning cream-colored cars. "

That's about right.

Wow--anyone who doesn't agree with you is a servile, worshipping flatterer of others. Someone is getting good use of his word of the day calendar.

Thing is, I think you have a cute MINI--I've just seen ones like it around, oh, 12 or 15 times since I think it happens to be more of a classic MINI look. Since you seem intent on brewing trouble, I'll just address one more thing before I go motor in my MINI...

Same article also states that the accident statistics are not for American owners...shocker there.

And, black cars are owned by people who are empowered, not easily manipulated, love elegance and appreciates classics.
Hmmmmm...different take on the article when you quote that sentence..isn't it?

Enjoy your day.

Yes! I got the white roof with my AB because I suffer from DID!! Sometimes the white is in control and I'm a nice guy. But watch out when the black takes over. Actually, I think my final color selection was more like Bluturtle's: my motorcycle is black and white.

This is pretty interesting. State that people need to think differently and criticize someone for not thinking just as you do.

It is one thing to state your opinion. It is quite another to have zero respect for another's opinion. Then of course, you criticize everyone who defends the OP for having a unique taste.

Nothing for you to be sorry about, you have a great looking car and one I would have went for if it was not for the dust problems here in the valley.

I have seen other posts by franinpa and it is not just your color scheme choices that bother him. According to him Ipods are a scam, any accessories other than OEM are a waste of money, laptop hard drives can not be used in a vehicle becasue of vibration issues, and the onboard NAV system is the only sytem that is good. But yet he can not find a good place to keep his shades in the Mini.

End this thread.

Black looks best when clean- so if you have the dedication, persistence, and continuous pursuit of excellence - you will be rewarded.

Your initial post effectively insulted all non-MCS owners, then you follow up by calling Texans "hillbillies", and you have hit me up from all angles. Blame my MA??? What the heck is that supposed to mean? I was well aware of the other colors available. I bought my wife a Chili-Red MC with a black roof 2 months before I ordered my AB MCS. There was never any other option for me however. I didn't care what other colors there were, I wanted BLACK. As far as the uniqueness of the MINI, I'm not "downplaying" anything. I bought what I wanted with MY money! I'm a grown-a_ _ man, and I'm not about to allow someone to proceed to tell me what I should and should not do, especially when I didn't ask, and even worse, someone I don't even know! Do us all a favor and keep your unsolicited advice to yourself if you can't come across any better than what you have.
Either franinpa doesn't get it or he (I assume) is just winding you up.
I don't know why he is bothering to post on NAM as there are far too many patronizing posters here

Just leave it be, as you have stated the car is yours bought with your money and you really don't give a rat's a$$ what franinpa thinks.

One of club members just bought a B/B Cooper but they have chosen the red & black interior. The All Black look is very unique and looks classy.

Franinpa - take a pill and settle down. You have an opinion and we are all entilted to it.......................NOT!!!
