Blazer Modification

I just got my R56 Chilli Red, Black Roof/Bonnet Stripe, Red and Black Seats rocket ship. I am a huge Blazer fan (hence the color choices) and want to put the Blazer pinwheel somewhere in the interior, such as floor mats, the pinwheel on the seats somewhere or somewhere small on the outside. Any ideas on a good, reversible way to do this modification?

For the outside, vinyl would be the way to go. Looks great and is completely reversible. Check out the Aesthetic Creations website. I believe they do custom vinyls.

Congratulations. I hope you're in-state. Otherwise, the team will send Isaiah "Don't call me J.R." Rider to whack you.

Pardon my ignorance, but what the hell is a "Blazer"? I assume not a Chevy 4x4.

What pre-concieved notion of the boundaries of Mini ownership lead you to believe that a Mini owner can't also like another car, even a SUV?

Yes, we in Oregon think we're in the center of the universe. Then we see posts like the ones above and get kicked back to reality.

Portland Trail Blazers: NBA basketball team. After Greg Oden helps the team win a championship, then you won't have to ask that question again.

None at all. It wasn't meant as a slam against Chevy Blazers. It just didn't sound like the OP was talking about Chevy Blazers... or sport coats.

I'm just sorry you got ripped -- as opposed to Rip City -- by the Obnxs one. It was an innocent enough question.

No problem. I've met the Doc, and even if he's obnoxious, I know he's not mean.

Ah yes the Blazer's I remember them from the days I lived in Oregon.

I have a buddy who is a Clippers fan at least you don't have to compete with being a fan of a basket ball team that plays in the same exact stadium as a more well known team. Seriously they just change the boards for whichever team is determined to be the "home" team. There is no home advantage for the Lakers and Clippers when playing each other.

Oh, and welcome to NAM. I say go with vinyls for the exterior.

Well, I was going to put a Portland Trailblazer pinwheel on the Mini. I have now been persuaded that placing a picture of a Chevy Blazer on my Mini may be the way to go. I can't believe that I didn't think of that sooner.

Sweet!! If you could get one like the old metalflake '70s style iron-on T-shirt transfers, that would be bitchin'!

You're welcome. The team's fans are known here as Blazermaniacs, so I knew from Blazer's name that's what he was referencing. Hard for folks in other parts of the country to know what we're talking about.

It took me a long time to figure out what a Saluki was. And to understand the nuclear green relish in Chicago. And to realize "The Outfit" wasn't your best suit of clothes.
