Has anyone else noticed that the digital display on the tach. is very easy to read even in direct sunlight? It turns white against black when exposed to direct sunlight a great advantage over other displays I've had in the past... However, the radio/spedo display washes out in direct sunlight...I wish the radio display was the same as the tach... wonder why they made them different?

The NAV lcd screen stays nice and bright in direct sunlight, another reaon to get the mini NAV. ;-)

 

I love that litte attention to detail also and also wish they would have carried it over to the radio. Ah well mabe next time!

I guess MINI heard my complaining about how the display on the '05 and '06 washes out so badly in sunlight. Glad to hear that they addressed this issue.

Awful expensive fix at $2100.
