Wheel question for R56

Hey, I'm hoping to make 100% sure about something. I'm interested in buying some OEM S-Lite wheels off a user here at NAM from a 2006 MCS to put on my 2007 MCS.

They'll fit, right? I'm guessing so, but I hate to assume without knowing for sure.

Thanks!

I'm pretty sure you will need to get the conversion studs from Texas Speedwerks. I'm keeping my aftermarket wheels from my R53 to put on my R56 and will ahve to buy them.

Give them a call they should be able to take care of you

Late '06 and '07 have 14mm studs, while earlier have 12mm. That means you can put late wheels on early models fine (the holes can be oversize-doesn't hurt anything), but some early wheels on late don't work without changing something.

texaspeedwerks have some special lugs that let you use 12mm wheels on 14mm cars.

A few people have opened up the 12mm holes a bit with a drill to allow the wheels to work. (what I would do personally)

So you may not have a problem. If you do you can work around it.

They fit fine. Guaranteed! When my car was in the process of being built I decided I wanted 17" rather than 16" wheels. My accommodating MA swapped these to my car, for a price, from a 2006 that was on the showroom floor:

Darn, so sad to see that you can't just use the old wheels on the 07. I was hoping to bring the wheels from my R50 to my R56, they were just the stock rims so I dont know if it's worth the 100 dollars for the conversion bolts.

Don't know. These came off a showroom floor car that had been on the floor in December when I ordered the car.

Here's a fairly comprehensive discussion on the topic of R53 wheels on an R56:

The prod week is all over the car on the stickers on parts. Try the bottom of the bonnet scoop, it's on there too....
