I didn't realize there was a crystal Mini at the Borgata! And we were just there, too...

I did get mine from Otto's, but I knew about the $1k from the get-go. I intended to put a few grand down anyway, so the deposit didn't dissuade me...

You got it Lava... I spent much of my youth wandering around Merchantville with my homies, used to be able to name every kid up and down Maple Terrace... (I lived next door in Cherry Hill)

 

MalteseRalcn - According to the website The Crystal Mini Cooper will be on display at the BORGATA HOTEL, ATLANTIC CITYfrom June 13th for 6 weeks, so only a couple more weeks. I've been there twice recently and didn't spot it... Where did they have it on display?

 

I haven't seen it in person but my parents have and said it's near the back/side of the casino on the main floor. If you ask where the fast food restaurants are downstairs and go there then rather than going downstairs you look off to the left and you should see the Mini (according my parents instructions).

 

alot of times i dont notice another mini til it passes me. and when i do notice one, i check to see if there's any eye contact. if there's none, there's no point in waving. if i do make eye contact, i always smile and nod at the other driver.

 

Huh, we were just over that way too, near the poker room. Well we'll be at Trump next Sunday, maybe we'll take a drive over to B just to peek at the fancy MC...

I hear ya man. It's sucks! I always do the wave or flash my brights and half the people don't get it. I guess it's just a car to them. They don't realize buying a MINI makes them part of this cool little motoring community. Their car dealer should have explained this to them.

 

DS woman waved to me!!! OK, if you are not familiar with DS woman, she is earlier in this thread. I have been waving to her since she got her car, about 2 months ago. She has always looked away, yet yesterday she poked her cigarette toting hand out her half raised window and in her way waved. HA, confirmation at last. I didnt stalk her or anything. Score one for the EB!!! Drove into Pocatello (closest college town) over the weekend. Saw a brand new '07 DS (whats up with all the DS??). The woman driving almost twisted her head off when I went by waving...I think an easy waving convert! WooooHoooo!!!

 

Got my first wave back on Sunday, I was very happy about that, it put me in a great mood for the rest of the day. It was an EB and was spotted near my house just as I was on my way out.

 

So far, 3/3 waved back.
