R56 Locking doors with windows going up automatically?

When i bought an Audi the saleman demonstrated auto up feature with his arm through the opening. When the window hit his arm it stopped and went back down. I think this is required with any factory auto up system.

My wife's 01 325i has the pinch protection. It is good to have especially with young children in the backseat.
