Hey I have a 07 cooper S and I was wondering if anyone has installed a boost guage or has any good instructions on how to install one?

Somewhere there is a post about a configurable digital display that plugs into the diagnostic socket - I believe you could display the boost on that as well as other data.

Search on some of those words, or perhaps somebody else has the link.

 

Yeah I am not much of a motorhead but I just need to know where the vaccum lines run? dumb question.

 

There should be a vaccuum line you can T a gauge from coming off the blow-off valve (by-pass valve) somewhere near the intercooler.

 

ok even dumber question I see the diagram where the BOV is but I can not find it! Sorry for me being retarded im very new to this!

 

You don't need to tap into the vacuum lines. The boost figures are in the OBC. I use the ScanGaugeII. Bought it on ebay. See this thread for more info.
