Nope, but Zippeee! said she got a nice ride when she came over.

Can't track the ship, though...

"Dame Edna" also on the Frisia with you (and 420 other Mini's who left Southampton on the same passage). Hoping for a speedy stop in Baltimore on the 3rd and timely arrival and unloading at Charleston on the 5th. Excitement building by the day for arrival in Arlington.

Percy came over on the Frisia last trip. No seasickness or nothing. Hit the ground ready to run.
Enjoy!

You can track the Frisia in Baltimore on http://www.shinemicro.com/Logon.asp, but we will probably lose it when it leaves Chesapeake Bay unless you can get on aisfree.aislive.com. I've registered, but it isn't working yet for me. We can confirm the docking in Charleston at http://www.port-of-charleston.com/Vessel_schedule.asp though---if we are obsessive, that is....

Freddy was on Frisia last time around. She's not much to look at but got the job done. I never had any luck with the aislive tracking last time around.

Good news.
Frisia docked @ 1.30am and began unloading @ 7am today.
It won't be long now (as the monkey said when he sat on the razor blade)

I'm hearing some things on other threads about delays in getting from the port in Charleston to the VDC, especially for cars that came on the Emden on June 29th. Some of them didn't get to the VDC until yesterday! Anyone have confirmation that the cars from the Frisia have made it to the VDC?

Mickie,
Dame Edna arrived @ Charleston on the Frisia Jul.5 & as of yesterday p.m.(Jul.9) has cleared VDC and is now waiting to load on a truck for the drive to Texas(according to dealer).

Hey there. I am a Wk 27er and my MINI is sitting waiting on a ship. I have read all the tracking posts but in the end I still dont see an easy way to find out if your MINI is on a K Line ship.

I have looked at all the schedules and see the most likely ship to pick mine up in Southhampton is the Emden, a sister K Line ship of the Frisia. She is steaming into Southhampton in a day or so then turning around on this route.

How did you guys confirm you were on a K Line ship? Did you have to call your MA or is there a site that will list the cargo for the K Line auto ships?

Thanks a lot!

Actually, I never really got real confirmation that my MINI was on the Frisia. The MA didn't know the ship, but knew that it was leaving Southampton on the 29th and arriving in Charleston. I checked the Southampton port site and the K-line schedule, and the Frisia was the only one that was leaving Southampton for Charleston on that date. Also, since my VIN never matched with the WW site, I figured it had to be the K-line ship. So it was all circumstantial evidence--I was never able to find a site that listed the cargo of the K-line ships.

Me either. Looks like I am doing the same from the calculation standpoint. Circumstantial at best is correct. Maybe I'll get a hit on the WW site. Keeping my fingers crossed...

If anyone else knows of a way to verify K Line status let us know. I have done my homework on the forums, believe me. Cheers!

Scottish by ancestory. They say Gaelic is making a huge comeback from a language standpoint. I dont know though. I think I would rather invest in Spanish or Chinese.
